Who You Talk To

Emmup Floor Coating is a referral service. We do not have installers on staff. When you send a request, a local, independent provider in our network reaches out. That provider is the one who will discuss your floor, give an estimate and do the work if you hire them.

What the Provider May Ask

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider understand the job before any visit.

• How big is the garage or slab?
• Is the concrete new, old or already coated?
• Do you see cracks, oil stains or flaking?
• Does moisture show up after rain?
• What look do you want, such as solid color, flakes or custom floor finishes?

Your photos and notes answer most of these. Keep a floor folder so you can find them fast.

Questions to Put to a Provider

You can ask anything. These are good starters:

• What prep will the floor need?
• Which coating do you suggest, and why?
• How long before I can walk or park on it?
• What does the written quote include?
• What care do you advise afterward?
• Can you help with photos or notes if I need records for an insurance claim?

Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

The Decision Is Yours

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can compare quotes, ask for more detail or say no thanks. Costs vary by job, so get a written quote before you agree to work.
